One of the main challenges was integrating multiple specialized hardware components—such as bill validators, touchscreens, and printing systems—into a single, unified user experience. Each device had its own technical particularities, so ensuring they worked seamlessly together required careful system architecture design and extensive testing.

We also faced the challenge of designing a truly intuitive user flow aimed at a very diverse audience, including people with no prior experience in technology or digital banking. This pushed us to prioritize clear visuals, easy-to-understand messages, and step-by-step guidance to reduce technological barriers and make the process accessible to everyone.

Another key difficulty was ensuring the security of transactions. Implementing secure processes that also provided real-time feedback was essential to building user trust, especially for people who traditionally operate only with cash.

Finally, we needed to create a system that could bridge the offline and online worlds: allowing cash-only users to complete digital purchases. This required developing validation, confirmation, and synchronization mechanisms to effectively and transparently connect physical payments to e-commerce platforms.

We designed the entire wireframe of the interface from scratch, prioritizing visual clarity, intuitive navigation, and accessibility for all types of users. Additionally, we aimed to create an interface that would be friendly for everyone, including people with color blindness or other visual impairments. We paid special attention to font sizes and button dimensions to ensure they were easy to read and use for people of all ages, guaranteeing an inclusive and comfortable experience for everyone.
